East Carson river guide trip

Filed under: General Topics — admin at 1:17 pm on Wednesday, August 4, 2010

Fished the East Carson river today with clients Chris and Bob. We decided to get a really early start and it payed off.  Chris and Bob had never fished streamers before and after a short demo they each landed fish over 20 inches on olive woolly buggers. We also got some nice fish on terrestrials and nymphs. The day turned out to be great and we never saw another person. 5 fish total to the net and 3 over 20 inches. The key is to get out there early or fish late. The fishing is slowing down from about 12 to 5:30. Guides Available.
