Fishing action on the East Walker River has been good for the few who will layer up and go.On January 15TH I ran my first guide trip of 2010.Ken and Paul in Tahoe from Indiana decided to try some winter fishing and were rewarded for their efforts. We had a good hatch of midges and a few small BWO`S, fishing small midge dries was working well.Paul had never tried fly fishing and caught on to indicator nymphing rather quickly.Ken cheered Paul on as he hooked his first fish about 15″ brown. Both Ken and Paul caught several fish topped by Pauls 22″ brown, not bad!As a guide I had a great time watching the guy’s catching fish and having a fun time. LET’S GO FISHING! We are guiding 7 days a week, BOOK NOW for winter and early spring and beat the crowd. Peter guide TFFO
