TRINITY STEELHEAD BITE AFTER RAINS

Filed under: Uncategorized — Peter at 8:26 pm on Monday, February 17, 2014

Trinity steelhead bite rolls on after recent rains. Recent rain has been moving fish around and steelhead fishing has been good. The steelhead have been eating stoneflies and egg patterns in off color water. The water color is steelhead green and makes the steelhead bite better than in clear water. We have a few weeks of prime steelhead season left before the hatchery releases salmon and steelhead smolt. The next couple weeks should be great fun with steelhead and browns grabbing flies. I will be on the river this week and have some dates available, 2/23 thru 2/28 are currently available. Full day float trips are $400.00 a day or $750.00 for two days for 1 or 2 persons. Trips include all tackle rods, flies, leaders, lunch and drinks. Not included, license, steelhead cards, shuttles and gratuities. If you don’t make a booking it won’t happen. I can be reached by cell at (530)318-7073 or by e-mail at peter@tahoeflyfishing.com. March dates also available . Don’t miss out on a chance to connect with one of these strong fighting steelhead. Book a trip and let’s go steelhead fishing on the Trinity.

Thanks and good fishing,

Peter Santley TFFO
