Early morning is still the ticket here on the Truckee. Expect best action of the day before the sun hits the water. Look for fish in their normal lies early morning, but moving into faster heads of runs once it warms a bit. High sticking stones or dead drifting crays under an indicator should get you a few takes.
With much colder temps last night we were glad we had wadders early this morning. Come prepared for just about anything in the weeks to come. September is just around the corner now and summer is losing fast. With water temps cooling fishing should start to only heat up. Less pressure and low flows make for a great time to come up and explore a new piece of water with one of our guides!
