Pleasanton Fly Fishing Show

I had a great time at the show this weekend.  I spent most of my time promoting the school and talking to various outfitters about their employment needs. It was obvious to me that the word is out about out the school since this year almost everyone I met and talked to, already new of us.  That is a good thing and I realized that we are the only guide school represented at the show.  Also a very good thing.  I spent time with all of our instructors.  Jaime Lyle, Matt Heron, and Jordan Romney, and Mike Weir were all there at their respective booths.  Having those guys on board gives us incredible exposure and credibility at the show.  I was also able to cast a few rods and new lines.  One particular product did “wow” me. That was the new Single Handed Spey line from Rio  Fantastic line for single handed spey casts and roll casts but a rocket as an overhead casting line.  I will be ordering a few so check it out.  We are about 9 weeks out from this years school so if this is what you have always wanted to do, sign up today and let’s get it done.  I have a strong feeling from all indications that we will fill up this year.
