Walker River Fly Fishing guides

Christine with a Nice Walker river Brown winter 09!

Fall fishing on the East Walker River is at full speed!  The Big fish have moved back into the Rosaschi Section of the East Walker River in Nevada over the past few weeks and the Ranch is fishing great!  The weather has started to cool and the fish are eating Baetis, Midges, San Juan Worms and attractor Dries!  We have had a couple of great guided days with clients catching multiple fish and some breaking the 20+ inch range!  This is the time of the year to catch a big brown on the East Walker River… the flows are the best we have seen in many years!  Peter Santley is guiding the Nevada sections of the East Walker River which gets you away from the crowds on the Miracle Mile.  Call the shop or call Peter directly at 530-318-7073, the fishing should be good through the month of November!
