INCLUSIONS:

  • Helicopter service from South Lake Tahoe Airport to the trailhead and back to the airport.

  • Off-Road trail ride on designated OHV trails with safety gear

  • 5 Hours on the water guided fly fishing

  • All fishing equipment and accessories including boots, waders, and fly rods.

  • Lunch, Snacks and Water

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Sunscreen

  • Sunglasses or eye protection

  • Loose and comfortable clothing or sun protection

  • Layering - jacket or sweatshirt or layering for the cold mornings

  • Snacks and refillable water bottle

OPTIONAL: Anglers are welcome to bring their own equipment. All gear and equipment must be delivered to the fly shop no later than the day before your scheduled Heli-Fly Fishing Adventure. We can not accommodate gear on the helicopter due to weight limitations. All guides will be equipped with the propper gear for the trip, however we understand that bringing your own rods, boots, waders, and accessories can be more comfortable for your adventure.

LIMITATIONS: Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the helipad at South Lake Tahoe Airport. Tours routes may vary due to weather and FAA restrictions

Passenger weights must be accurately provided at time of booking. Groups reaching a combined weight of 500 lbs will be subject to a weight check upon arrival for their flight. Any individual weighing 300 lbs or more will not be permitted to fly per the limitations of the aircraft. Any cancellation of a planned flight due to weights exceeding the maximum allowable aircraft weight (individual or combined) will be charged at full price.

Children ages 13 and up are welcome. All guests must have good health standing, determined by Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters and sign Release of Liability forms. The mountains and wilderness have rough terrain, unmarked obstacles and potential hazards. Despite best efforts incidents can still occur.

Terms of Booking and Cancellation Policy: 

By paying your deposit to confirm your Heli-Fly Fishing Adventure with Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters, you are agreeing to our Booking Terms and Conditions below (the “Terms of Booking”). Please review the Terms of Booking prior to completing your booking. Deposits are non-refundable and subject to a $150 Administration Fee for any changes to your booking.

Please read the following Terms of Booking: 

  • All rates and deposits are subject to change without notice.

  • Your initial deposit is equal to 20% of your total trip cost (the ”Deposit”) and is non-refundable.

  • Full payments (the “Final Payment”) for all heli-fly fishing adventures are due 14 days before the trip date. Non-payment within 14 days of a trip Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters reserves the right to release these dates and you will forfeit your Deposit.

  • In all cases of guest cancellation or change, the following conditions of our cancellation policy will apply:

    • All cancellations must be received by telephone at 1 (530) 541-8208 or confirmed in writing by email to info@tahoeflyfishing.com.

    • If you can find a replacement guest for the same booking (name change), you will incur a $150 administration fee. It is the responsibility of the guest, not Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters, to find a valid space replacement. The cost of the trip for space replacement will be full posted price at time of re-booking. For safety reasons, a valid space replacement is subject to the standard weight limitations and health ability questions prior to finalizing the booking change. Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters reserves the right to refuse a space replacement based on these qualifications. If the initial booking guest cannot find a suitable replacement the cancellation rules will be applied.

    • If cancellation is received more than fourteen (14) days before the trip date and you cannot find a replacement for the trip booked, the Deposit less $150 can be applied to a New Booking within the same Heli-Fly Fishing Season.

    • If cancellation is received less than fourteen (14) days before the trip date and you cannot find a space replacement for the trip booked, all funds received by Tahoe Fly Fishing (including Deposits and Final Payments) (the “Applied Funds”) less $150 can be applied to a New Booking within the same Heli-Fly Fishing Season.

    • Heli-Fly Fishing Season is May 15 through November 15 and is subject to weather, FAA restrictions, Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs), or unforseen helicopter or UTV maintenance.

  • If Tahoe Fly Fishing Outfitters cancels a trip due to unforeseen circumstances including weather, FAA , TFRs, or unforseen helicopter or UTV maintenance, guests will have the following options.

    • Move Applied Funds to the following alternative date in current or future season.

    • Full refund of applied funds.

  • Participation in any Tahoe Heli-Fly Fishing Adventure trip is conditional on all guests completing our Release of Liability for the helicopter flight, off-road UTV and fly fishing operations prior to the trip.

  • It is the responsibility of all guests to arrive at the trip departure site at the required times; and it is the responsibility of the guest on the booking for any extra costs incurred if a scheduled Heli-Fly Fishing Adventure trip is missed. Refunds of Applied Funds will not be given in cases where guest are more than 30 minutes late to a booked Heli-Fly Fishing Adventure trip.
