What is ice out?
When the lake is transitioning from a frozen body of water to its liquid form, the trout are hungry and feisty. It’s a small window of opportunity that can make for an unforgettable fishing adventure.
-

Fishing
These big rainbows and browns have been holding all Winter under the ice and they are ready to get fat on Spring stillwater bugs. This clinic will coach stillwater rigging and techniques for making the most of ice out.
-

Experience
Due to the early season, there is only one way to get to the lake - hike in. It’s a truly breathtaking view with snow on the ground and surrounding mountains, wildlife that hasn’t seen people in months, and hungry fish.
