    This beautiful private lake is yours for the day. Our 10-acre alpine lake is surrounded by beautiful pines, granite boulders and willows and home to big rainbow and brown trout.

  • Instruction

    Our guides for the clinic are skilled in stillwater and river fly fishing and are ready to share their knowledge on casting, knots, entomology and their overall passion for fly fishing.

  • Truckee River

    A fun section of the Truckee River full of features to learn new techniques. Cast deep rigs to sitting fish behind boulders are place dries on their nose. A trout anglers paradise.

Spring in the Sierra - Wildflowers are popping, the river is in good shape and lakes are full of hungry fish. The 2025 Women’s Spring Clinic is the perfect clinic for those looking to learn and develop their skills with a fly rod in a fun, positive environment.

Saturday, May 17th: (8AM - 3PM)

Morning Session: Basic Fly Casting, Equipment, Basic Entomology, Basic Knot Tying, Rigging, and more.

Afternoon Session: Guided Stillwater Fly Fishing

TRAIN CAR TACO BAR: Complete with chicken, steak, and black bean tacos. Toppings include cilantro, chopped white onion, limes, and salsa. A side salad is also available with your tacos. (please let us know if you are interested in other food options for your lunch)

Sunday, May 18th: (8AM - 3PM)

All day on the Truckee River: Advanced Fly Casting expanding on your instruction.

2 DAY CLINIC: $495

WHAT TO BRING

  • Comfortable clothing for the weather.

  • Layering - plan for the weather. Tights, or lounge sweats are great for under waders. Wool socks are the go-to but your average ski sock will work great.

  • Pack a rain jacket just in case

  • Small backpack, sling, or waste pack

  • Any fishing equipment you’d like to use or learn

  • Sunglasses, Sunscreen, and Sun Protection

  • Waders, Wading Boots (let us know in advance if you need waders and/or boots)

  • Fly Rod (5wt or 6wt), Fly Fishing Accessories, Tippett, Leader, Flies

Cancellation Policy

100% of payment due at time of booking. Cancellations requested within 14 Days from start date of the retreat will receive a 50% refund on the booking. Cancellations requested within 7 Days of the trip will not receive a refund on their booking.
